The top curly hair influencers to follow

If you follow us on social media, then you know we love a good Instagram post. But we also love recommending Instagram as a great place to find hair inspiration, styles and tips. A few weeks back, we shared our own top tips for embracing your natural curls, and this week, we’re sharing the love by posting our top curly hair influencers to follow.

1. Jannelle O’Shaughnessy

Jannelle might live all the way over the pond, but her curly hair tips travel well. Jennelle is the queen of refreshing – showing you how to prolong your curls and stretch out your washdays. She’s even got some useful advice on how to protect your curly during ‘you-know-what!’

Follow Jannell and her bouncy curls here.

2. Dominique

Just a skip over the Irish Sea, Dominique is a little closer to home, meaning that she has some great product recommendations. Dominique also offers some excellent curl advice including how to care for coloured curls, how to perfect the “bowl method” and how to let go and not care on holiday.

Find out all of Dominique’s tips here.

3. Lulu

Lulu is a great example of exactly what’s possible with curly and wavy hair. Her Instagram page is full of waves, curls, updos, straight hair and even naked curls. A great page to visit for plenty of inspiration and style ideas for the day, night, holidays and even paddle boarding.

4. Gigi

You only have to look at the difference between Gigi’s heat, chemical and bleach-damaged hair to the big, bouncy and beautiful locks she rocks today, to want to click Follow. Gig’s Instagram is full of enviable holiday photos, meals out and nights partying with friends – all while embracing her natural curls.

5. Merian

A scientist, entrepreneur and curly girl, Merian’s Instagram page is hugely influential. Having developed and launched her own curly care product range, Merian has some pretty solid tips and advice when it comes to caring for and enhancing your natural hair. Her own curls will give you serious length goals, giving you even more reason to take her advice on board.

6. MaryAnn

If you haven’t got the hair length of Merian, then MaryAnn’s Instagram page is just for you. Rocking the curly bob, MaryAnn shows how short curls are just as beautiful as long curls. With plenty of style advice on how just how versatile short curls are, you’ll be screenshotting away as soon as your click follow.

Have a look at MaryAnn’s account here.

7. Eleanor

We could continue this blog forever, but we’re going to finish with Eleanor. As a content creator, Eleanor shares all of the information you need about hair, style and life. With plenty of videos to show her hairstyling in action, you’ll click away with plenty of tricks to try out at home.

Take a look here.

And that’s just a small selection of the curly hair influencers out there. If you’ve got any of your own curly hair influencers you’d like to recommend, drop us a message on Instagram. And, if this post has influenced you to embrace your natural curls, then pop into the salon to take a look out the new Davines Love Curl range. Infused with Noto almond extra, this range clarifies and hydrates the hair,  leading to defined, bouncy and soft curls.
